What makes the LCSD "High Efficiency"?

It uses a Mirotherm® surface on the collectors which is much more effective at trapping heat than the black paint or basic coatings used on standard panels. This allows it to work better in less-than-perfect sun conditions.

Does it work in the winter?

Yes. While solar generation is lower in winter, the Mirotherm® surface ensures it captures as much heat as possible. For very cold or cloudy days, an inbuilt electric or gas booster automatically kicks in to ensure you have hot water.

Can it be installed on any roof?

The LCSD is a roof-mounted system, so it’s perfect for homes with limited ground space. We recommend a pitch between 10° and 30° for optimal performance, which our team will verify during your free assessment.
