Save Up to $2,800* on Locally Made Hot Water Systems

Bigger Rebates for Locally Made Systems
At Solahart East Gippsland, we’re helping locals take advantage of the Victorian Government’s enhanced commitment to local manufacturing. In 2026, the Solar Victoria Hot Water Rebate continues to provide a major financial boost for households switching to efficient electric hot water.
The “Locally Made” Bonus
While the standard rebate remains at $1,000, you can now access an enhanced rebate of up to $1,400 if you choose an eligible Australian-made system. To qualify for this extra $400 bonus, your new system must be at least 50% locally manufactured or assembled.
As the trusted name in Australian solar since 1953, a wide range of Solahart Solar Hot Water and Heat Pump systems are fully eligible for this maximum $1,400 incentive.
How the Rebate Works
This rebate is part of the Solar Homes Program, funded by the Victorian Government.
Key details:
The Solahart range includes 13 Aussie-made hot water systems that are eligible products.

Are You Eligible?
You may qualify if:
*If you’ve received a Solar Homes rebate and/or loan but have moved house, you can apply again, provided the new property has not received these rebates before.
Emergency Replacements
At Solahart, we know hot water can’t wait. If your system breaks down, you can proceed with an installation right away, even before your Solar Victoria rebate application is approved.
Just be sure to let your Solahart dealer know you intend to apply. You’ll still need to meet the eligibility criteria and provide documentation after installation. If the rebate application is unsuccessful, the rebate won’t be paid, so it’s important to check your eligibility beforehand and follow the steps carefully.
